Szechwan cuisine has a very long history and is very popular in every part of China. Moreover, it has long become world-known and now been an extensive favourite of foreigners. Perhaps a few may think Szechwan dishes are so hot that they dare not to try at them. Szechwan dishes are, in fact, only famous for their extreme hotness and it's not true that all the dishes have the hot sesame taste. Hot ones actually make up only a small part of the thousands of Szechwan dishes.
